DESCRIPTION:This event supports Rays for Rare's mission:\n\n"Bringing uplifting support to medically fragile children and their families"\n\nThere are over 5\,000 medically fragile children in our area. This number is growing as our community grows and advances in medicine continue.\n\nWhether it is one of 7\,000 rare diseases\, including all forms of pediatric cancer\, or the survivor of a tragic accident all of the families we support have a medically fragile child. What does that mean? A child who is medically fragile requires daily care by specially trained caregivers (above and beyond typical parenting).
